Nectar Cuisine Internationale is a new restaurant opened in my home town, Bathurst New Brunswick. The Chef bought a lot of my pottery when I was still studying pottery at College and he has been using it in his dinning rooms ever since. I just found a link to his New restaurant back home which looks absolutely divine, I can't wait to go have a taste of some of the delicacies he has to offer.
The pottery that is featured in this image, platter and sake set is part of the work i did as a student.

Every year for the last 5 years I do a week long residency that the Fredericton Arts Alliance organizes. I started doing this when I was still a student and have learned and benefited from these a great deal. This week from August 15th until August 21st is when I am demonstrating some of my techniques.
We had a fantastic show in Moncton! Thank you to all who made it so fantastic by coming to support us! The weekend started with amazing sunshine on Friday afternoon, there were line ups at the gates and customers came in ready to buy. Just about 2 hours before close though we had some torrential downpour with hail, lightning & Thunder and intense wind gusts that pushed some shelves around. Thankfully the pottery that did fall off the shelves fell onto nice cushiony grass and did not break. At the end of most great storms though comes amazing rainbows, i thought I would share this image with you. The rest of the weekend was a perfect mix of sunshine and clouds. Now onto more production......
This mug made its way from Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada all the way down the East Coast of the USA across to California up the west coast to Alaska and back down to cross over Canada all the way back home to Harvey, New Brunswick!
We are thrilled to announce that we are now exporting our pottery to the USA. This very sweet shop Sea Meadow will be carrying our Dear Coffee & Oh tea mugs. If you are near Essex Massachusetts then make your way there and grab them while their hot!
This years NEW PRODUCT has been keeping me really busy! I launched these NEW mugs at ACTS this year. They all have different letters to Tea or Coffee on them. The public has LOVED these and I just can't seem to make them fast enough. I took some pictures of the ones that I am working on right now. These are "bisque fired", this is the first firing for pottery, next I will glaze them and then fire them all again for a final firing. I plan on having all of these shipped to NEW STORES by end of this week.
